Continuing through the book of 1 Corinthians, we read about the topic of disputes within the church. In 1 Corinthians 6:1-3, Paul writes to the church of Corinth about a court case between two believers. He urges the church to resolve matters within the church. If we are unable to resolve trivial matters among ourselves and need a secular institution to make a wise decision for the good of our church, what does that say to the world about the Bible we live by? Does it not hold the wisdom? Does it not provide answers?
As a church family, we are called to love one another in good times and bad times. We are not perfect, and we should strive to resolve problems and restore relationship with each other. The church is a hospital for the sick.
