In 1 Corinthians 4, Paul encourages the church to imitate him, not because he is perfect, but because he is a role model. All men have fallen short, all have sinned. Even Paul says he is the chief of all sinners. Though, we should imitate how he serves Christ alone. Imitate Christ-like behavior.
